Deirdre, I was going to try your "heel" trick this morning. But my digital seems to have come to its senses and dropped the extra three pounds this morning. Knew I was going to kick it to the curb??

Time to purchase a new scale. Look on Amazon. There are some there with thousands of positive review. My "newish" digital scale is probably 7 years old now and still as consistent as the day I bought it.

What brand and model, please. I'm probably going to replace mine.

I've also thought mine has a memory. Sometimes I pick up something just to budge it off of that weight. Then I put down the item and step back on.

Deidra- neat trick with the heel reset!

Barb- congrats!

tip for those wondering if their scale is accurate. weigh yourself, then weigh holding 2 liter soda bottle. should be 5 pounds difference.

I weigh myself standing with my whole right foot on, but left slighly hanging off- because there is a crack on that side from when my fiance attacked in the middle of the night when trying t pee one time...
But hey, my method matched up with the Dr's scales, so.....

That's good to hear, maycan!

The heel trick doesn't work as well for me. I get a message that the data is useless.

But it still, sometimes, gets off the danged weight that is NOT accurate.
