Default Day 3 excited to be LC

Hello all, I am on day 3 of Induction. I have spent the last few years eating very high carb and attempting to manage my weight, unsuccessfully, with an IF plan that worked for me back in 2014. Enough. I am ready to really give this LC thing the college try as a permanent way of eating.

I’m 47 and 5’5” with roughly 60 lbs to lose. I would really like to have some online friends on this journey so please add me if you like.

I am totally new to LC and also to cooking. The learning curve seems steep, but luckily I am not working right now so I have time to invest in my health journey. I have an 8yo son and I want to be as active with him as I can. Just got back from downhill skiing for the first time in 25 years. I did great, was happy to find I could still do it, but my weight really bummed me out on the slopes. Hopefully, I will be in better place by next winter.

I am loving all the tips and recipes on this forum. I am eager to try so many, but have to wait until OWL for most. I am planning on trying the oopsie rolls and a homemade marinara tomorrow as the ingredients seem compatible with Induction.
