Default Mushroom Fry-up

Made this by accident the other day when I discovered some mushrooms in my fridge that had to be used that day or else.

5 medium mushrooms (your choice, I used standard grocery store white)

3 thin slices of onion

2-3 TBSP shredded cheese (again your choice, I used sharp cheddar, but fontina, swiss, white cheddar, parm, etc. would also be good)

Dash each: onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning (or Greek, Herbes de Provence, etc.), salt and pepper, Tabasco or hot sauce of choice.

Fry mushrooms and onions till tender/crisp in a little butter and goose fat along with seasonings.
Remove pan from heat and sprinkle cheese over till melted. Plate up and splash with Tabasco.

Heavenly. Gave the kitchen a wonderful aroma too!
