Question reward meal balancing

Can anyone give me some info regarding balancing my RM. I have not gotten the CALP book yet (still doing CAD).I am not thrilled with the idea of losing my 1 hour eat-a-thon, but based on what i have read on this forum, it seems I will have to do so . Please let me know what this entails. THANKS

Don't look at it as a one-hour -eat-a-thon but a one hour food experience. In the Calp plan your reward meal is to be eaten in a 1-hour time frame. It is to be at least 1 cup of salad greens (dressing allowed), plus a balance of 1/3 low carb vegies, 1/3 protien and 1/3 carbs. Portions are balanced by size. Carbs should be complex carbs (vegies and/or fruit) not always a simple sugar dessert (cake, pie, ect). Also beware of the carbs in sausage fillers and processed meats!
P.S. DRINK YOUR WATER!!!
Hope this helps. Good Luck.

I think that they also say that you can just "eyeball" your balance-you don't have to weigh anything out or anything like that.
