Wow, it took a long time to get some people to respond, LOL It is nice to meet you guys. I have been on Atkins for about 3 years and love it. I lost 60 lbs (20 on WW's and 40 on Atkins) Atkins is so much easier to be on, I think. I would like to loose about 10 lbs more, so I bought a treadmill this month and have been doing good using it. What your stories??

Hello!

I once lost weight and went from about 155 to 130. It took about 3 years on and off of diets. I did weight watchers for a long time and then switched over to atkins about 6 months before I got married. DH lost a ton of weight reall quick on the atkins. My weight slowly came off too (the weight I couldnt get off from ww). I got married in September 2004, looked and felt the best I'd ever felt. During the honeymoon, I went downhill and never recovered because of some other issues. I was unhappy with my job and the excitement of the wedding was over. I recommitted to atkins on my 1 year anniversary (September 2005) when I weighed in at 167, my highest weight ever.

I found that when atkins is done right, its the best way of life because you don't go hungry. I even eat a lot more veggies now than I did before. It's also nice because DH can do this way of life too. He would never been able to do weight watchers because it just wasn't enough food.

Nice to meet you guys and good luck!

Purvi

I have only been lc for about a month and have only lost 3.5 pounds. I weigh more than I ever have except for pregnant for my last child. I gained about 10 pounds between the holidays and quitting smoking so, I am anxious to lose. Two of my family members started lcing with me and they have both quit so I am flying solo. I am going to stick withit, I know I will lose in the long run. Anyway, nice to meet you all and stick with it we will succeed.
