It has just dawned on me that I have hit my 100 lbs lost goal (still more to go...nevertheless, I've lost a 100 lbs so far!

Thanks ladies!

I went to the clothing store this morning just to see where I was in jean size.

Cool, but I didn't buy any. I'm on a budget. I just wanted to see my real size and what a wonderful surprise that turned out to be.

I so hear you on the budget thing!
Have you gone to any places like GoodWill for new sizes as you get down into new ones? They have very nice quality at very affordable prices.

I haven't gone yet, but there's a Goodwill not too far from me so I thought I'd check them out so I can get a couple size 14 jeans. Ha...ha...just saying 14 jeans makes me giggle inside; i'm still in disbelief.

So exciting!! Thrilled for you hon!!

Do you guys have a Gabriel Brother's out there? You have to do some searching through racks but you can find nice stuff there on the low low.

Thank you gweny. I'm pretty thrilled myself.

No Gabriel Brother's in Vegas, but Ross is pretty cheap. I went to our local Goodwill and the prices were about the same for a pair of jeans as I could get new at Ross. Would you believe I got a pair of brand new black jeans at Ross for $2.49 dollars (nope...there's nothing wrong with them either). Go figure. They're way too small for me (size 32) but for that price I just couldn't pass them up. I figured they will be good for incentive purposes. So they are something to look forward to wearing.

Confession Time

I began low carbing a little over two years ago and lost 115 pounds in the first year. Then basically took a year off.

This past fall was extremely difficult for me. I wrecked my bike 2x's, so my exercise level dropped to almost nothing. I was also dealing with mental health issues, some related to weight loss some in the "other" category.

Long and short of it, I regained 25 lbs.

but I'm back on plan, and back to getting good amounts of exercise. This week is one month being back on plan and 10 pounds down! yay!

Still have a long ways to go to get to goal, but I'm sure this year I will do it!
