Default FatFast really works

if anyone is stalling.
I am continually amazed. I did FatFast the third week of August after being 'stalled' for basically 5-6 weeks, losing only a pound or two in the whole time while staying religiously on the Atkins.
Now, I keep on losing a little bit here. a litle bit there. And, I have even increased my carbs a bit thanks to Karen's delicious NY Cheesecake recipe. I now have a cheesecake treat daily and find myself looking forward to it.

Hiya Nille,

The recipe for Karen's New York Style Cheesecake, among other yummy things, can be found in Low Carb Recipes on the orange bar at the top of the screen.

Default here's the link for just the cheesecake

but look at all of the recipes. The cheesecake, I skip the nut crust, is just excellent. I increased the lemon juice to 1 tbsp. but it is great either way. I also cut it into 8 portions and really look forward to my daily treat.

Cool Thanks again Rosebud !

Even though I "stole" your "rose"-idea you're still so nice to me.
Sorry, I looked everywhere except of course where it's most logical to find it ! And there I found a lot of other stuff as well

Talking um, you planning on eating the whole

dang thing at one sitting?
If you cut it into 8 or 12 pieces, you divide that total and see where you end up.

My judgment says that shouldnt be on the fat fast, but Id like to hear everyone elses thoughts.....I mean the ingrediants look harmless, but the stats are pretty bad. That is not 90% and that is very high in carbs. Any thoughts?

I made that cheesecake and added some sf hazelnut syrup and almond extract and it turned out AMAZING! I took it to work with some fresh strawberries to share with my friends at work and they gobbled it up. They have to admit-my diet sure tastes better than their low-fat one!

I'm new here, but I was wondering about the fat fast and how long you stay on it for?

I admit, I had a hard time finding it just now myself. I've bookmarked it so I can keep on going back should I stall again.
I just did it for five days but it was enough to "trigger" losing weight again.

Thanks Lasert

I found that site too. The Fat Fast doesn't look like enough food? Didn't you get/go hungry?

Hi there Bok,

Do bear in mind that the Fat Fast is only meant for people who are have such severe metabolic resistance that they cannot lose weight any other way. In fact, Dr Atkins specifically says it is dangerous to follow if you are not metabolically resistant.

I see you have only just started Atkins, so there is really no need for you to worry about such a thing as the Fat Fast.

May your Induction go well!

Rosebud
