10-01 --- 9268 - Rain, rain - go away
10-02 -- 10366 - Hit my 10K - had to get wet to do it
10-03 -- 17152 - That's more like it
10-04 -- 15704 - 4k steps came from thatching the front lawn. It was certainly much more work than regular walking. I'm glad my fitness tracker picked it up.

I've noticed that the Garmin does not pick up most of my activity when I am working in the kitchen. It requires several consecutive steps before it will count them. The other day I spent 90 minutes cleaning the kitchen and doing some batch cooking. That red 'get up and move' bar never went away from all that activity. My phone picks up a lot more of this type of activity than the fitness tracker does. IMO - this little device is only a gauge. It works good enough to remind us to be more active and lets us know when we've put in a good day pounding the pavement. But it certainly isn't perfect. You very well may have done more than you step ticker indicated.
That's true Ken, and like you I was in the kitchen a lot yesterday. I have also been doing a bit of circuit training with my workouts and things like rowing don't pick up either but I have my heart rate monitor on so I know I'm getting a workout
