Question Goal BFI

Does anyone have a recommendation to set a Goal BFI?

When I started the diet 2 months ago I got a BFI test from my gym and was at 325 lbs ~ 28%.

So I was carring 91lbs of fat, which would mean that I would be at Zero fat at 234lbs. Correct?

Ok, so obviously I don't want to set my goal for Zero Body fat. But what is a good Target to set? I know it will come down to how I look and feel. I was thinking 250 to start, But fitday's graph shows that as Severly Overweight (I am 6'5").

I know that it varies between muscle tone and bone structure and all that, but I am curious how you came up with your goal weight, and maybe can give me some insite other then me just shooting in the dark.

It is hard to believe that you are only 28% BF at 325lb. to be 0% fat at 234lb, even for a 6'5" man, will put you in mister univers category/Arnold type category...

The only accurate why to measure BFI is an emersion test where you get imersed in water and the measure the amount of water displaced, and based on you weight they can calculate your BF. All otehr measurment methodes are only good to measure progress but not absolute BFI..

A good estimate would be to figur out what should your weight be for your hight and shape (muscles) and the rest must be fat..

Ex. I weigh 225lb, I am 5'11", I am built, so I should be 160 at 0% BF. which means I carry 65lb of fat (yeeeck) which is 28% BF..
