I saw on another forum were somebody took a bag of frozen green beans and drizzled them with some evoo and roasted them in the oven till they were crunchy like french fries then salted them and ate them as a snack. When they are done they are rather ugly looking but all said how good they were so I tried them. Wow, if you like crunchy snacks and the taste of green beans you should try these. I then took it 1 step further and bought fresh green beans and did the deep fry on them at 375 degrees for 4 min and they were even better tasting .

If you get a chance you should try these. So nice and crunchy.

This is even better with yardlong beans from Asian markets. You can also slowly fry them in a wok or skillet with some ground beef or turkey and chili sauce (tabasco or louisiana hot sauce or your favorite low carb variety).

dhania, ready for steak and salad with harissa dressing tonight
