"hidden carb calculator" help!!
This link from another low carb support group I'm signed on with is what introduced me here Hello everyone !
However I'm confused exactly how to use this calculator to determine whether or not the fiber content of my foods has been previously deducted or not via the info available on the calculator.
Ex)
My Trader Joe's Psyllium says it has 10g Carbs and 9g Fiber per 2-TBSP serving. This means it should have one effective carb per serving.
However, based on the article linking me to the Calculator, it says many products are now already removing the "fiber carbs" from the listed carb amount on the label, yet still the fiber is listed underneath.
I want to know if I'm overlooking something, or does it not have this function. Thanks!
