I just went through what you are describing when I started Atkins induction a couple of weeks ago. I felt very weak and run down initially. After a few more days went by, I started feeling fine. Good luck.

Lots of water and just hang in there. And also look up "induction flu" on this forum...there should be tips from others (I think some might take supplements to help). Just remember this is temporary. Hang in there!

Suddenly switching your body from one fuel source, carbohydrates, to another, fat, is an enormous change, especially if this is your first time. It took a few weeks for my body to make the switch completely the first time I did the PP Purist plan.

I was exhausted for the first four days. Day five was when I felt "normal." Today is day seven for me and I felt great all day.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't do anything drastic the first couple of days, I decided to make changes in my diet. But, then the first couple of days, I didn't realize I was going to be going low carb, it's just how it worked out.
