Hi everyone! I plan to join in tomorrow with my accountability report. Right now I have two quiches in the oven, so I'm on top of my food prep for a while. I'll be reading posts tonight.

What the hay? It's easy to cut and paste, lol.

The quiches are done and smell soooo good!

I need to get reacquainted with this site. I was on it briefly a while ago... I was on the August posts and wondered why no one had posted this month, lol.

good to see you Teresa!
Kit and Heidi me too. I needed to allow myself to LIVE along with losing weight. Its helped a lot.
Sosumi it seems like your body is just wanting to hang onto what is left. It WILL let it go eventually (like a stubborn toddler).

I ate solid food yesterday and today. Its not perfect but since the stomach is a muscle I figure its a bit sore. I had pork rinds and queso and tortilla soup with cheese and avocado yesterday. Today I had about 2 oz of steak, chopped up very tiny, and cauliflour with a cheese sauce (packaged food). I feel pretty good. I'm still being cautious and will re-evaluate later this week and if my stomach still feels sore I will make a doctor appointment. Thank you for everyone's concern and support

Hi, Ang! Thanks. I'm glad I finally read my message from last month! I wondered why the other page had gotten so sparse. I remember there had been a post on it that directed people to another chat on that site that didn't go into fasting, and thought that's where people went, but then I couldn't find the post, lol. Heidi, I have a hard time navigating this site, too. I think I'll double post for a while. I found the extended fast interesting, but got kind of tired of it, but it's over now.

I might have a little bump today. I'm trying to do OMAD, but I had to bring in a large piece of quiche for brekkie. It was so hard not to have any last night when I was cutting it up and wrapping it to freeze.

Hey all, we are on day 15 of mom being in the hospital...ugh! She is encouraged that today they are saying "Even if we wanted to send you home you don't have the right equipment"...she heard the word HOME and is all excited. I am taking it as a sign they are keeping her longer or this stuff would have been done already.

Still dont know my weight.

Glad to see you Teresa!

Mom got home yesterday. She has been sleeping mostly. Being woken up every 2-4 hours non stop for 15 days would take a toll on anyone! I do hope she perks up a bit soon though.

They didn't figure out what was wrong, other than her obvious pulmonary hypertension. Something changed and caused her to not be able to hold her oxygen like she was, but after a million scans all they have is "Well, maybe one of your meds is too high, we will lower that, and you have enlarged lympnodes in your throat but no where else, so that's weird, you also seem to be anemic now".....that's all they had for her! No explanations for why she had a sharp decline, no advice on how to get back to her normal. The light in her eyes has faded drastically....I think she is finally admitting that this disease of pulmonary hypertension has her number, and there is no fighting it.

In other news, she needed my scale in the living room and I feel weird going out there half naked when I first wake up to weigh so maybe I'll pick out a pair of "weighing clothes" and just be consistent so I can finally weigh myself.

Hope you are all well

Trying hard to get back on plan and under 200 again. Doing a 500 cal lc day today and tomorrow, hopefully that will help. I need to lose or I will have nothing to wear when the weather cools! Went shopping for clothes today, not a happy experience. Shouldn’t have given so much away.

Kit – I am not sure how I feel about moving. I would like to know how CaCO feels about it, as our leaving was mutual. She has a lot going on right now and this may not be a good time.

We saw unhealthy, and dangerous behavior and called it out in a pleasant, concerning way, and for that we were reprimanded, and our posts were deleted. Even the new thread I started asking for no fasting discussions was deleted. And the thread they started for us was humiliating and shameful and did not need to be. Too bad they did not allow a pleasant post warning about dangerous, disordered eating behaviors. Or letting us post a request not to discuss xyz in a thread. I did not appreciate the heavy-handed moderation and the deleting of posts that did not warrant being deleted. I’m still pretty POed about that. The whole thing was very middle school by the moderators over there. And I was seeing a lot of dangerous behavior all over that place.

Bloodhound! - great to see you here. You are doing great! Steady losses, way to go!

Ang – Glad to hear your tummy is doing better. Are you still planning on following up with a Dr, just in case something is wrong?

CaCO – so glad to hear your mom is home. How worrisome this all is! I will continue to pray.

Heidi – you can do it! only a few lbs to get back under 200! Go Heidi, go Heidi!

Sorry I've been MIA for a few days, my calendar has been super busy! On Mon our work team helped a charitable organization pack food boxes for low income seniors. We packed over 1,500 boxes in 3 hrs! And boy, was I sore the next day, and still a little bit today!

I had a few dr appts, routine stuff, but it messes with your schedule. Last night I had a networking group and got home late. I didn’t weigh today, as we had a carby dinner last night.

Heidi - woohoo! That was fast.

Teresa - Great job. Hope your husband recovers (and gets out of the hospital) quickly.

Sosumi - Thanks for the reminder about the moderation issues. I know I was pretty PO’d about my several innocuous posts that were deleted. Didn’t realize you were as PO’d as me. My irritation faded over time though.

CaCO3Girl - Glad your mom is home. I’m sure she’s happier there but I know it’s more stress on you. Hang in there!

I’ve been off plan but hoping to get back to it starting again tomorrow.
