swam laps for an hour, worked with water bells for 20 minutes, did 15 on underwater treadmill, 10 minutes of deep knee bends, and 15 minutes of walking back and forth in the hot tub...Did this both Wednesday and Friday...Didn't make it to the pool Monday...ended up moving furniture out of my garage apartment to make way for carpet to be laid...Exercise is beginning to come easier....Praise God.!!!

Any kind of housework can be darn good exercise but moving furniture is one of the toughest!
I had a good day visiting family and came back to the hotel for a swim. Going to pack the bags tonight so it won't be so rushed tomorrow.

Cycled three times for 2:55 last week. Already rode 26.8 miles in 2:01 today, so may even hit 100 miles this coming week. Feeling much fitter than even a few months ago since I began adding a long Sunday ride to my usual M-W-F bicycle commute to work.

Thanks Kelly, and yes, it does feel great! Although I haven't lost any weight in recent months, I'm slimming down by adding muscle mass, as I can feel my skinny clothes getting looser.

I won't make 100 miles this week, though. My left knee was a bit twingy on my commute this morning, so I will take tomorrow off to give it a rest.

I may have spoken too soon. After taking Tuesday off I rode yesterday and today, and have covered 59 miles. Plus, my knee feels great. Sooooooooo, if I ride the shortest route to work tomorrow that will leave me with 30 miles to go on Saturday. Last Sunday I rode 28 miles, and could have gone further with another bottle of water...

Thanks Kelly. I knocked out 11 more miles this morning and am sitting on 70.1 miles for the week. My knee feels fine. I've got bottles of water in the freezer and have my 30 mile route all planned out. Wish me luck!

Good luck! I just had to laugh at your frozen water. Up here the water would stay frozen for most of you ride. Well maybe I'm exaggerating a bit but fall has already started and there were frost warnings last week

It got to 104 F here yesterday, and is supposed to hit 100 today, so yeah...I froze my hydration solution.

I headed out at 7:30 this morning and rode the 30 miles without any issues for a weekly total of 100.1 miles in 7 hours 27 minutes, and I feel great. I'll take tomorrow off, and do the minimum 2 hours next week to let my body recuperate.

We are heading to Florida at the end of this week. It's supposed to be around 90F and that's plenty warm enough for this Northerner

Yeah, but I think the humidity in Florida will equal the temperature, whereas it's normally below 30% here. Big difference...HUGE!
