Smile Leslie Kenton's X Factor diet

Hello to all you very supportive people
I am new to all this low carb stuff and trying out the Leslie Kenton X factor diet, but not for weight loss. I am trying it for health reasons as she gives such good information to indicate this type of diet is good. I am doing the Insulin Balance diet, which allows 35%carbs/35%protein/30%fat, but much of the diet is all very natural foods. Is anyone else trying out this one?
I am finding it difficult to find a source of unsweetened whey protein isolate in the UK. Has anyone else had any luck

Thumbs up H&B - Whey Protein Isolate

Hi Junerose

Welcome to the Forum.

I am sure your health with improve on that combination. Holland and Barratt do a brand of unsweetened soya protein isolate - about £6/tin I believe.

Check out the LC Foods in UK Supermarkets thread above. Has excellent information shared by all who are following this way of eating. Perhaps you might want to share some of your knowledge too?

Take care.

Default Unsweetened Protein

Hi JuneRose

I got H&B's own brand vanilla flavour "90% Protein Powder with soya lecithin" (454gms). I paid around £10 for it if I remember correctly and it's absolutely zero carb.

Cheers

Hi June and welcome

I was interested to hear you are doing Leslie Kenton X factor diet, I can not say I've eard of it before. Whilst it is balanced re 35%carbs/35%protein/30%fat, it is high in carbs for many of us on this site who tend to eat under 10% carbs and around 65% fat. However, you said you are doing it for health reasons, rather than for weight loss. The majority of people here are doing low carb for both reasons.

Every success.
