I got one I will sell you cheap. I bought it intending to work out with it at home when I couldnt make it to the gym. But my left knee is staging a protest and the other one refuses to cross the picket line.

best bang for the buck are the new Vision Fitness mini ellipticals. the x1400 (non heart rate 999) and the x1500 (heart rate 1299).

i wouldnt go with anything lower than that. you are just asking for a service nightmare. i will give the email addy for my service manage and let him tell you about it.

if you're a little more serious you could go with a precor, but i am not a big fan of the movement. it forces your lower back to move side to side, and can cause lower back pain.

the new life fitness models are where its at. the x3.0 and x3.5; both have a great feel. life fitness went with ball bearings this year in instead of brass bushings, so the machines are super quiet. these two are in the 2599-2999 range... a little more money, but worth every penny. if you want the best, then go with the Life Fitness X9i. it is the club model with different programs (set up for home instead of a club.. go figure). list on that is 4199, but you can usually get them for less.

we sell all 3 of those brands, and then some at our stores. Life Fitness is our best selling machines hands down.

hope it helped
