Default Phase I Menu - can you help?

This SBD is so different than Atkins! I was wondering if one of you pros could look over my menu for today and give me some feedback? I've been doing Atkins since February and just want to be sure i start out on the right foot!!

Breakfast:
1/2 cup 1% MF cottage cheese
1/4 cup chopped raw veggies (cukes, red/yellow pepper, green pepper, celery)
1T Fat Free Half 'n' Half with coffee

AM Snack:
Raw Veggies (about 1/2 cup sticks of the above type)
1 string cheese

Lunch:
2 cups spinach
1/4 cup chopped veggies (same as above)
2T sunflower seeds
1T Ranch Dressing (homemade with Mayo and LF Buttermilk)
4oz roasted turkey breast (roasted myself)

PM Snack:
non-fat light blueberry yogurt (sweetened with Splenda) 6oz cup

Dinner:
Grilled Halibut
Zucchini
Homemade Coleslaw (splenda sweetened)

Any thoughts? I'm not entirely sure if I'm "doing SB" right because it seems so different to Atkins (with the dairy, mainly).

Thanks for your help! Critique away

1T Fat Free Half 'n' Half with coffee I like H&H in my coffe as it does not have HFCS, the FF does.

Phase I we do not eat fruit flavored yogurts, sorry! Get plain and you can add sweetner or s/f flavoring

Dinner:
Grilled Halibut
Zucchini
Homemade Coleslaw (splenda sweetened)

Thanks, Judy!! Great advice...I'll ditch the yogurt until Phase II

the cottage cheese says 1% milk fat...so I'm guessing that is low fat I'll probably ditch the FF Half 'n' Half, too....didn't even read the label. Darn me!!

THank you for responding....I was getting nervous

Yes, thats a low fat cottage cheese.
You can save that yogurt until you are in phase II as it'll still be good. You must try greek yogurt...simply the best!!

I read every label for ingredients.....I've learned the hard way.

Don't be nervous....when we make mistakes, we learn for the next time....how else do we learn?
See my signature!! Progress not perfection!!

I think my nerves are that i"m not using the "carbs" as the easy way to see if it is "ok". Atkins was easy in that respect. However, SB sounds much more doable for me forever....which is what I'm ready for now.

I have tried the greek yogurt and I agree...yum! I love mine with some almond extract, slivered almonds and splenda. I'll save my fruit yogurt...it should keep.

I'm so glad this forum is here or I think I'd drive myself crazy! Thanks again...

See? Now that is phase I friendly!!
I get the greek 2%, just because its lower in total calories...otherwise I'd get full fat.

Other than those few tweeks your menu sounds great! Yum.....and the almond extract with the yogurt - I'm DEFINITELY trying that! I also use unsweetened dark cocoa powder with Splenda....delish! Great job!

with the greek yogurt, you can also add extracts for flavor- I LOVE lemon when I want a fruity yogurt.
