Arielle, How is the tyrosine working out for you?

It seems that tryptophan is better for me than 5htp, which Julia Ross stated in the book can happen at times. Unfortunately, as with the tyrosine, I discovered the hard way too much has bad effects.

I'm back to using GABA at bedtime and feel I am really benefiting from it so far.

That's great!

I have gone through so many changes I always remind myself that I'm doing this to get better health. And then, I will have to change it again.

At first I was a bit rigid with the timing and amounts I took. I am learning to listen to my body as I've come to see how each amino affects me. I am so grateful to have learned about these. After years of depression and anxiety, I feel finally like I have found answers.

As others have written, she uses supplements. Have you also checked that you are eating enough of the foods that provide the Vitamins & minerals that support mood, using nutrient density. This article has a list of vitamins important to counter depression, and the link at the Depression graphic has lists of what foods has them. His program optimises the amounts for each persons issues, not just meeting the RDIs. https://optimisingnutrition.com/nut...101/#more-12093
