Default I'm struggling to lose more weight

I've lost 45 lbs but for several months now I'm unable to lose anymore. I have some good ideas on how I'm going to kick it back in. I think posting here is one of them.

Welcome Lisa you have found a great form which supports many versions of low-carb diets, So you can choose the plan that best fits your lifestyle. To avoid "carb creep" many do go back to the Atkins induction level and stay there until they meet their goal. https://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=236482
Another version of that is Dr. Westman's clinic diet https://www.dietdoctor.com/se/wp-co...starch_diet.pdf It is also in the back of a recommended book that has helped many, Why We Gat Fat by Gary Taubes. Both are versions of Ketogenic Diets, that have strict carb levels through the food lists, and introduce the concept of Time Restricted Eating. https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/keto/guides Also a good list of Tips..How to Lose Weight. https://www.dietdoctor.com/how-to-lose-weight Hope these help. Look forward to your posts here.

All the best,

Hi neighbor! Welcome.

Age and other female hormone factors can affect one's ability to lose, as well.

Tracking everything I put in my mouth really helps me avoid the carb creep that Jey mentioned. I use Joy and other people like CarbManager.

Also, you've lost a lot of weight (congratulations on that!), but your BMR might be slightly lower than it has been. It will naturally lower as you lose, because it doesn't take as much energy to support a smaller human. I don't think you need to obsess over calories and definitely don't believe in eating low cal; that doesn't help either. But once you start tracking you might see that you're eating too much for the new you to lose weight.
