Default Servings

I'm having difficulties setting the serving size on a recipe.

Here's what I did:

Coffee Creamer, Paleo
14 oz can of coconut cream
2 jumbo eggs (2.5 oz ea)

Okay, that comes out to 19 oz of stuff, or 38 Tbl.

So I set the serving size using the custom serving size to Tablespoon and the number of servings to 38.

However, when I put this in my daily entry and use 1 Tablespoon, it uses the entire recipe. Rather than having to figure out how to express 1/38th of the whole as decimal, how do I make the recipe actually yield 1/2 and oz, or 1 Tbl. per serving?

hi Nancy,

I noticed the data for the Trader Joe's coconut milk is way off .. http://forum.lowcarber.org/myplan.p...item_id=1033466. Like, 1000's of calories and grams of fat per 100g ?? Try re-entering the data as a new custom food, and then replace it for the coconut milk in your recipe. That just might fix the problem

Okay, phew! Glad I didn't eat that many calories. Thanks!

If that didn't fix it, remember that when you set the number of servings for the recipe you need to click "update recipe instructions" instead of "update servings".
