Default Avocado slices wrapped in roasted seaweed

I love seasoned roasted seaweed snacks (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Asian markets, sometimes Costco). I've discovered they're even better wrapped around a small avocado slice. It's reminiscent of California roll sushi. I think the oil in the avocado helps you absorb the nutrients in the seaweed too.

Oh, thanks for that! I have sheets of nori and am struggling to find palatable uses... A daily dose around avocado sounds perfect!

The sheets of nori aren't seasoned, so you might want to add something more for flavor -- wasabi, pickled ginger, gomasio.

Also, the sheets of nori should be toasted lightly before using. Just preheat a griddle or skillet and put a sheet in for 10 seconds on each side.

Here's another idea to use up your nori sheets. Cut one (after toasting) into 4 smaller squares. Roll a square into a cone and fill it with seafood salad and a paper-thin slice of lemon. Eat the hand rolls immediately so that the nori doesn't get soggy. (Soggy nori is not nice.)
