I eat my one and only large meal in the evening. We evolved to eat in the evening, which is why no matter how much you eat during the day, you always want to eat in the evening.
If you are not at one meal a day, I would suggest putting off your first meal as long as possible, and keep moving it forward in time. Eventually, you can get to 2 meals a day, as later as you can. You will start to feel very alert and energetic by not eating during the day, which raises your insulin and makes you hungrier.
And you know you have a big, real meal, not a snack, for the evening.
