"operation aborted" error message

Many times when I try to click links in this site I get the error message:

" Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=201823

operation aborted"

When I click ok I get the page cannot be displayed error message and have to log back in. It just happened 3 times in a row when I was trying to read a thread. It has happened before, sometimes everytime I log in.

Whassup?

last night I tried to access a thread, and 3 times got that error message again. And it just happened again...why?? Anyone??? Do I need to tweak my settings?? Hello?????

Windows ME, zone alarm firewall set at medium security for surfing the net, and I have been flipping back and forth between IE 6.0 and mozilla firefox and netscape 7.2- because IE is weird some days.
