Hello friends. I didn't want you to think I just dropped off. I wasn't feeling well and ended up having a heart attack. I'm recovering, but weak. I am sticking to plan, but won't be doing any challenges for a while. Just following along to see how everyone else is doing.

Life sure has its moments, good, bad, and scary. I'm sorry to hear about your heart issues. I know that I don't have the healthiest ticker either and I worry about the same thing happening to me. I wish you a speedy recovery. I'm convinced that we are doing the best thing we can do for our health by eating this way. I just hope that it is enough to make up for the junky diet that I ate in the past. All we can do is to just be as kind to our bodies as we can be in the remaining days that we are blessed with. Get well soon.

I didn't track my food yesterday, I ate plenty of OP food, and I ate late, too. I was good on the carbs - surely less than 50 net, but that's about it. I ran a 10K, but that's no excuse. I'm calling it an off the mark day.

Thank you, all. I want to share the funniest moment from the hospital. A nutritionist came in to give me a copy of their "Heart Healthy Diet" and she said "You can eat eggs now, all you want. They are no longer bad for us." LOL Didn't want to tell her I have been a big egg eater since I was 4, and never stopped. I never believed they were bad. Eggs have not changed. Knowledge has.

You don't want to know about their "Heart Healthy Diet."
