Default Is this candida die-off?

Nine months ago I found out that I'm gluten intolerant. I cut out the gluten and 10 pounds and my bloated belly quickly disappeared. Suddenly, a couple of weeks ago, the bloat started to come back. I thought (and still think) that I'm at least slightly lactose intolerant. However, I was reading a magazine that was discussing candida - and a lot of my symptoms matched. I spent an evening reading up on candida. I was a little skeptical about a lot of what I read - especially because so many websites were trying to sell me something. One website, however, included a lot of culinary ingredients that worked on the yeast. One of the suggestions was to stir some coconut oil into soup. Even though I didnt follow the rest if the suggestions, this seemed like an easy addition to the seaweed soup I eat 2-3 times a week. I started adding it to my soup last week, and this week I started having diarrhea every day. I also had some really intense cravings for chocolate and wine (chocolate cravings aren't unusual, but while I enjoy wine, I don't usually crave it). Could I be experiencing some candida die off with very little work?

Coconut oil can have that effect by itself--it could be die-off. Check out the rest of this forum for more info--there are great links at the top. Best of luck in your fight against Candida--low carb is best.
