Default Custom Foods

Read the thread on how to enter custom food if package data wrong.
Trying to put in 100ml Double Cream

Fat 47.5 x9= 427.50
Carb 2.6x4=10.4
Protein 1.7x4=6.8. Total 444.7

Error telling me the amount of Kcal is over 3000

Can you advise what I am getting wrong?

Thanks

hi there,

Is it possible that you accidentally put a decimal point at the wrong place when entering the custom data??

Just a thought

Thank you Doreen. Entered information again just as above hoping you were right, but it is coming up with the same problem.

hello again

I created a test custom food, using the values you provided above:
energy: 444.7 kcal (which got rounded up to 445)
carbohydrate: 2.6 grams
protein: 1.7 grams
lipid/fat: 47.5 grams

It worked just fine, no error message about incorrect calories.

Not sure if this link will work, but here's what I got .. http://forum.lowcarber.org/myplan.p...item_id=1036023

I'm still hoping that the "error" is due to a number-entry problem

Thank you Doreen T. Managed to work it out. I was doing the calculations when I didn't need to. Just added it as it was on label and hey presto.
