Theres a great pub in Greenwich that serves pork belly with cabbage and apples and it is soooo good. not too pricey either, I think its at the Greenwich Union.

Eating out is always a problem for us. I pretty much stopped eating out much when I got sick of Nando's. A Giraffe opened near us, and they usually have decent salads and often allow you to substitute healthy slaw or chips for salad.

We went to a German place in Richmond last weekend with some friends. It's outdoor eating, so the time to catch it this summer is probably limited. However, the wurst and sauerkraut was excellent. You can order this huge platter for two people and just skip the potatoes.

Usually, we just hope the place we stop allows us a bit of leeway with substitutions.

Hi CelticLass. Luckily it came back on yesterday. Not been too bad because i work full time and I'm normally ready for bed when it starts to get dark this time of the year. Just glad I have a gas BBQ to cook on!

I'm new here, and live on the southern edge of London. I have been driven to searching the Internet for low carb recipes and ideas now that it has got colder and I fancy hot food for lunch instead of salad. At least being at home during the day I do have a full kitchen at my disposal - not sure how I would manage if I was still working!
