...I started this long journey. As if this morning's weigh-in, I'm down a total of 113lb in one year! I'm at 248 now, had my original goal of 240, but know I'm gonna want to go lower now. If anyone just starting out is reading this - trust me, if I can do this anyone can!
Weight goals are funny things. We pick them out long, long before we have any idea what a good weight might be. Maybe a good weight is five pounds less than whatever we are at right now.
Yeah - my logic for my goal was what I remembered weighing in high school. 240 was my biggest then, then I started losing some up until my first week of college. I was down to 205 or so. Don't know if I'll make it that low again, but my second goal is gonna be somewhere around 215-220 and then I'll reasses then.
I love success stories, thanks for posting yours. The fact that you have not reached goal in no way diminishes the fact that you have succeeded in losing so much weight. And it is a journey after all: a journey to good health and wellness. Congratulations!

It is amazing what you can accomplish in a year if you really set your mind to it. I wonder how many years you added to your life by doing this for yourself? Of course, it is impossible to know - but I would hazard to guess that it is more that a few. Great job!
P.S. It can all be undone. Trust me on that one. Never forget what got you here.
