I need help forming a ckd diet to use for a race I have coming up in a few weeks. I have been low carbs for four months with good success but my running stamina has suffered. I am looking for specifics on how to do a ckd diet especially what to eat the two days prior to the race.
CKD is typically a weightlifter type diet used in conjunction with heavy lifting and a depletion workout. The depletion workout depletes muscle glycogen and allows for supercompensation from the carb up.
I would not reccomend switching your diet a couple of days before a race.
I would reccomend Natural Hormonal Enhancement (NHE) diet for you though. It is a low carb cyclical diet that is not necessarily ketogenic. It has many benifits. http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...8&highlight=NHE http://www.extique.com/index.htm
