Talking Happy Dance is now in progress :)

Last week, I went down another 20 pound notch on my scale! Whoo Hoo only 5 more knotches to go!

AND today, I have became a part of the double digit club to loose. No longer needing triple digits!

I have lost 78.5 pounds, so far and now I have only 98.5 more pounds to go.

My future goals
  • Minor - Another 10.5 pounds I will be just over the 50% mark and will have lost more weight then I need to finish loosing. See sawing the other way.
  • Minis continued - 14 more pounds and I will be down another 20 notch. 5 more to go.
  • Major - 40.5 pounds away from my wedding weight.
  • Major - 64.5 pounds away from the weight I met my hubby at.
  • Finale - 98.5 pounds more and I will be at my high school weight

Thanks ladies, I was going through my clothes doing my happy dance...

I was pulling out clothes saying okay maybe this fits now. Nope it was to BIG! Passed right over wearing some clothes

I am running out of clothes to wear. just spent $150 on underwear and more bras.

I tried on a 48 D bra and to my amazement it fit. Lifted my boobs like they were torpedos... Holy cow

I am so happy today.. all I can do is the happy dance every time I get up to walk!

I know the feeling of shopping in my closet and going through all the sizes that lived there. Its very liberating!

If you live near any thrift stores, that's a great way to not spend a ton on clothes that fit as you will lose much more on your way to your goal.
Good Will, Salvation Army....
Also, if you like to wear big shirts and they are really big, belt them!

Oh, lovinita, I am so, so happy for you!
Congratulations on a huge success.
Trust that you have also had some great improvements in your health and blood sugars...that's what is truly important though your weight goals are inspiring.

Shopping in your closet is so much fun, and like Judy, I shop Goodwill. My sister likes the Savers in New England because clothes are already sorted by size. I made a quick stop at the one in Plymouth just to see it...fancy to have sizes sorted

Belting I tried you suggestion. Problem is the shirts are falling of the shoulder extending past my hand now. So, it isn't quite working. But I will keep trying maybe I get lucky.

I just moved the last of my clothes into my closet. I say I got about 30-40 more pounds of clothes left. And then I will need to buy. I will try the thrift stores but I don't think they will have my size right now 24 plus size...

I have never been smaller than a size 14/16 when in high school (weight 165 with dieting). But I am shooting for 175 cause I think that is more natural for my body...

Kay,

it is so funny... I went to buy undies had to get them a size too small a bit tight. Cause apparently the sizes go 9,10,12,14,15

No size 13 or 11... Really weird...

Hey Janet,

My blood sugars are doing really well for the most part. Although the 4th of july I had some fried Salt and Pepper Shrimp and some chicken veggies, out at a chinese restaurant which my BGs didn't like that.

The shrimp had more flour coating to it than what I am use to when they do that dish and hubby thinks the chicken had corn starch to thicken the sauce...

It was really good... But probably won't eat that again...

I will have to look at savers... Did you notice the highest size they had?

Chinese restaurants can be a mine field with the soy and starches they use, but you might ask if they will make a dish special for you without. Or make Chinese at home..somewhere here I just saw a new "crack slaw" thread. ( bag of coleslaw mix, protein and Asian spices) . At Savers, I didn't notice exact sizes other than they had everything organized by type of clothing and size and there were plus sizes. Store was close to an exit on Rt 3 in Plymouth on my way to the Cape, but many other Boston area locations.

I tried that crack slaw recipe and it is amazingly good (I didn't even add the sweetener to it and it seemed plenty sweet). It tastes pretty close to mushu pork (or what I remember it tasting like) and would be great wrapped in lettuce leaves.

I haven't looked lately, but I imagine it's in the recipe section from the past 2-3 weeks.
