Default citric acid

Hi everyone
Is citric acid harmful/dangerous for people with candida? What is the effect of citric acid on one's body? I've read that one should avoid it as much as possible, but I don't understand why...
Any thoughts, opinions?

Hi Jonika
Citric acid is the most widely used organic acid in the food industry. While it is produced naturally in the body and is present in a number of fruits and vegetables, for commercial use (in food industry), it is manufactured by feeding a type of yeast on sucrose.

Hope this helps.
