What about corn? Can you eat corn if you are on a yeast-free diet? I've seen sites that say yes, some say no. And if no, do you have to avoid any corn products, such as polenta?

If not, does anyone know why?

Hi Lilah,
I avoid corn in all forms. Because it's relatively high in sugar compared to other vegetables, so could be feeding the candida. I have noticed a reaction to corn - I'm at the point where I am really sensitive to foods that feed candida and this is one of them, sorry!

Suee is right, corn is very high in sugar, you should avoid it. I don't eat it at all.

I don't eat corn either. Its not even a vegetable, although we have become accustomed to viewing it as such.
Its a grain and I can't eat any grains because they cause intense cravings.
