Trying to use the My PLAN to keep track of carbs and protein and I keep running into snags with the program.

I have looked at past requests for help and there are no responses to similar questions.

I have read the basic FAQ for data entry

I think these are program glitches but there is no response from the program monitor.

Any suggestions?

I've tracked my macros in the past, and I've gotten to the point where I've learned how to eat the right foods to get where I want to be. There are a couple other tools that you can consider. Here's a link with a comparison of the two. Hope you find what you need:

I don't know anything about MyPlan, but if it's not working for you try:

Chronometer Free with ads for the web version (assume data sales), $2.99 app purchase, $5.99/month subscription for "Gold" level. Probably the most comprehensive tracker that includes sleep, weight, micronutrients, etc. (Some of those features may only be available with the upgrade.)

Joy Free to try for one month, then $2/month (no ads, no data sales). You can add your own recipes, set up different plans for different days, scan UPCs to add foods. Not as pretty as some, fewer colorful charts, etc. But it is the cheapest ad-free/no data sales option and is straightforward to use, if you just want something to track what you're eating.

Carb Manager Basic version is free (assume data sales, not sure what the ad status is since I haven't used it); premium is about $3.50/month. I'm not sure if you can add your own recipes. Premium will give you access to meal plans, their recipes, etc.

Those are the top three that I'd suggest checking out. My Fitness Pal, which is otherwise pretty popular, is not low-carb friendly. Last I saw you couldn't track net carbs, etc. So that's probably one to avoid.

Full disclosure: I use Joy and like it, but I have no other affiliation with it or the other companies. I've considered switching to Chronometer, but for three times the prices, I'm not sure it's worth it for me. And I might just end up with something similar, but prettier.

Thanks for these suggestions. I have been going crazy trying to access FitDay to check out their program. No luck.

I will try the ones you suggest. My heart is broken since my computer refuses to download the upgraded Diet Power. Loved the program and it was free.

Thanks to Benay for pointing out the corrupted link in the earlier post.

Strange, but all are working for me now. The forum truncates the URL, but I'm able to get to the website.
