Default Real Pizza Crust

Yes ladies and gents, you read right: REAL PIZZA CRUST

Ingredients:
Atkins white bread mix

Directions:

Follow directions on back of box in terms of ingredients. Allow to rise the first time then divide into 10-15 small balls (depending on how big you want your crusts). Heat oven to 400 and break out a clay pizza tray or a mesh pizza tray. Roll out the balls into very thin crusts. I dusted my work surface with mini carb bake mix. Gently transfer 1 crust to the pan and pop in the oven for 1-2 mins, flip, bake 1-2 mins. Remove. Allow to cool. Store as desired. I froze mine so they will last a long time.

VARIATIONS:
Add garlic powder to dough
AND/OR
chopped basil
AND/OR
chopped oregano
AND/OR
red pepper flakes
AND/OR
parmesan cheese
AND/OR
olive oil

Smile different size?

this sounds great Astro---do you think it would work to make a medium size pizza crust instead of small ones, or does the dough break apart?

Thanks much,
Leigh

Sure I think it would work! Just would require some delicacy getting it on the pan, maybe fold it in quarters and then gently transfer it? Kinda like a pie crust, ya know? Or hey yeah even better roll it up on the rolling pin and then unroll it on the baking sheet. That could work too! I just choose little pizzas for easy individual servings =)
