I'm also a newbie to the anti-candida diet. I don't really have many symptoms that everyone else seems to have but I have had menopausal symptoms since age 34. My hormones are all out of wack and my gut is as well. My dr. did a blood IgG test of my gut and the number was 177. She said that I had to do this diet for 3 months. Everything online says that's an ok number. Any advice/info. from anyone out there? Ok , and then the questions I have are regarding the conflicting info. regarding this diet. I have Erica WHites Beat Candida cookbook and it says yes to certain grains. Most websites say no. How about carob? Then the whole stevia debate is mind boggling. I'm already depressed that I have to be on this and the confusion that goes along with it just makes me want to give up. HELPPPPPP!
