Default Help!!!

Ok so here is the deal, I have been using Copenhagen for about 15 years now. I use 2 to 3 cans a day for a total cost of about 10.00 per day 300.00 a month. I was just released from the hospital after having a "mild" heart attack.

I have to quit but am the first to admit that I am addicted. It is not the cost or the health that bothers me the most as having something else besides me control my life.

Any help I can get, any ideas, and anything PLEASE!

Wow congratulations on your recovery! I'm in the process of becoming an ex-smoker myself. I'm using Zyban but that's not keeping me from smoking. It's a day by day struggle. It has helped me to do some new things and stay as busy as possible. If there is something you've always thought abut doing and just never have...now's the time to do it. It's a head game just like being addicted to food in my opinion.

Best wishes!

At the risk of sounding like an annoying broken record on the smoking threads, please consider getting Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking book.

I smoked 1-1.5 packs a day for 22 years, and never thought I'd be able to stop. This book was a lifesaver, in more ways than one. I would imagine it would work whether you smoke cigarettes, a pipe, cigars or use chewing tobacco.

Here are links to the book. I included the UK Amazon link too, because he's actually an English author and better know there

Allen Carr Barnes & Noble. (scroll down for reviews)

I found the book in paperback at my local Barnes & Noble. I think it was only around $7 or so.

Hi,

You can also register with www.quitnet.com. There are some wonderful people there and it's very supportive. I read their forum almost every day. And member's profiles too - some can give you great motivation and ideas

Good luck !
