Default Losing The Honeymoon Weight!

Today I am going to start posting every workout that I complete in the gym log!

I used to be a marathon runner...fractured my right foot and gained 15 pounds!!! So, I have to figure out other low impact ways to keep my body moving and lose some weight.

I am going to focus on the elliptical machine, swimming, FIRM videos and WATP videos. Advice is very welcome!

Wish me luck!

My plan for today is a WATP video on my lunch hour...I brought 3 lb weights to work, so it will def be a good workout.----Ended up doing Walk and Jog-no need for weights, but I was sweating! The nurses seemed to enjoy it okay.

Awesome. You can do it. Bringing the workout weights to work is great. You are motivated & disciplined & that will keep you fit.

Thanks SlimLynne! I love your visits!

This morning I woke up and did the video WATP, Walk and Kick. It was okay...these low impact workouts are perfect for the morning when you are too tired to do much.

At lunch, a couple of nurses and I are planning on doing another WATPs videos. So we will see if the conference room is empty or not. Since I have class all night, that will be it for the day!----The conference room was booked, so I took a 30 minute walk outside at lunch.

At lunch with the nurses, I did Walk and Kick. I truly enjoyed this workout today. I think because I was with all of my friends and we were sweating together!!!

After work, depending on how my foot is feeling, I am either going to walk/run outside 4 miles with Bailey or go to the gym and get on the elliptical for 45 minutes. One of the other and I hope I get to go outside since the high today is 83!!!

Yesterday I did the 2 mile walk with Leslie, I used weights the whole time and it was pretty tough. I am thinking of taking the day off, I have been cleaning all day long and just need a break!

On Sunday I did not work out, but I walked over 10000 steps just from cleaning and working around the house all day.

Today I found out that I have three fractures in my right foot and neuroma in my left, so I may take a day off to be down in the dumps!

Alright, I have taken 3 days off of working out. The first day bc I was so darn busy, 2nd because I had a pity party for my feet and 3rd because I was breaking in my new inserts. Today is the day-it's on!!!!!!! I'm getting so excited to be able to run again!

On Tuesday I did take a 15 minute walk at work and today I did WATP with 3 pound weights. I am planning on an all incline walk on the treadmill tonight as I watch some TV.
