Hello, again, hellraiser! I started an egg and meat fast yesterday. It's not the same as a fat fast but is pretty close. I'm going to try to do it for a full week, but we'll see how long I can stand it!

I think the main thing to keep in mind is to keep your carbs as close to zero as possible and to drink LOTS of water.

Here's to both of us!

hallraiser,

Why are you Fat Fasting?

Do you have Metaboliic resistance?
How many calories are you consuming?
How long have you been stalling?
Do you exercise regularly?
aAre you loosing inches but the Scale is not moving?
You haven't been loosing anything at all for the past 4-6 weeks? (this includes inches and weight)?

I really suggest that before doing a FAT FAST you answer this questions.

Fat Fasting can really, really screw up your metabolism.

Read the Tips and Stalls Thread before doing this. You will find lots and lots of information on this...

Please post the reasons why you want to do this fat fast.

Thanks

Hellraiser,

The day is going well, but it's funny how cravings hit you. This afternoon, out of the blue, I got this massive craving for a peanut butter cookie! Isn't that crazy? I haven't had one in ages, but all of a sudden I could smell and taste one. Luckily, there were none around

I totally understand your wedding dress goal. My best friend is getting married next year and has asked me to be her maid of honor. Nov. 1 we're going to look at bridesmaids dresses, so I'd like to look halfway decent in them!

Here's to brides and bridesmaids!

funnyface: my second fitting is this Friday. I must loose weight FAST.

Cookie? LOL I'm not much of a sweets person except for ice cream; I go nuts for ice cream so I try to solve my cravings with a bit of wipped heavy cream with zero-carb syrup. I also intend to get an icecream machine and make my own ice cream with heavy cream soon. All after the wedding, until them in bootcamp for me!

Today I did a clean straight fatfast day of five 200 cal meals by the book. Let's see the results tomorrow.

Cheers,
H.
