Over here they have Jersey cows whose milk they say tastes nicer and whose cream has higher fat content so tastes creamier than normal. Also they claim to not be as intensively farmed.

Sounds a tasty treat for someone who has reached the berries rung of OWL!! Thanks for posting it.

The 6 net carbs in the berries would be only a bit over the 5 net carb OWL addition too.

I've not got to OWL yet.
But if I keep track of the rest of my foods I sometimes have room for this as a dessert.
30ml of the cream only has .5gm carb and the cream cheese is quite low for the amount I use...so still not too bad if you allow for it in the rest of you menu...and so tasty and the best bit is....it's instant...just mix and eat...It would probably be nice with a teaspoon of cocoa powder rather than the blueberries to keep it even lower..think I'll have to try that as well later in the week..

cheers

I bet if you added some vanilla extract with some splenda or one of the flavoured sugarfree syrups to the cream cheese/cream mix it would be good without the berries too. Or some lemon or lime juice would taste good.

I found early in my Atkins journey that Waitrose own brand cream cheese (called soft creamy cheese) has less carbs than Philly, so I always buy that instead to keep the carbs down a bit more. I don't know if you have Waitrose where you live, but it is worth looking at different brands of cream cheese to see if you can find a less carby one to use.

No waitrose here in N.I.....but I will have a look at Tesco and ASDA and see what their ones are..
I would love some flavoured syrup but the Lowcarb Megastore charges almost £12 to deliver to me and that is a LOT to pay for a bottle....or even 2...if I ordered much more than that the deliver would increase again...
Had a look at Sweetbird syrups as well but they have carbs and the sweetener everyone says is bad for ya...so no go there either...
If anyone knows where I can get the SF DaVinci for reasonable delivery I would be grateful

Cheers
J

If you are getting a large order from lowcarbmegastore I think they do a free delivery deal. Not sure what the minimum order to get that is though.

Edited to add:
Sorry it looks as if the free delivery offer for orders over £75 is just to UK mainland destinations

I don't know if www.avidlite.co.uk would be cheaper to order from.

Or maybe there is a sugarfree coffee syrup supplier or even a Starbucks/Nero/Costa branch in your area you could buy from. I do know that some UK people on lowcarb boards have been able to get their local coffee shops to order for them.

Hi Freeways

I am a newbie. This sounds really good. It would be sweet enough without the Splenda for me. I will try it.
Thanks.

It comes from Jersey cows and is 'gold top' milk....high fat content....

When I was a child we had a dairy near me and I used to drink a pint a day!

Only for a while but it was so yummy.....
