I have sadly lost and gain weight to any times over my life. This last time I gained, was more due to medical (and a massive amount of deathly depression). I had to then buy clothes cause I had gotten ride of all my fat clothes. I have 6-7 storage totes full of clothes, thin clothes. I hate to admit I put myself into a financial crisis over the $3000 worth of clothes I bought. But I saved them. And I will be back into them this summer hopefully.

As for my fat clothes, I will store them. Just Incase I end up back into surgery for the same issue Iíve been dealing with for sooooooooooo many years. (26 to be exact).

So as I lose and have to pull out smaller size clothes I will just replace them with the larger sizes. Iím tired of buying more when I get big again.

I'm excited to go through my shorts and capris again once warmer weather hits. I went through part of my closet yesterday and have started another "too big" pile on the floor. Probably by the end of this year I will have a whole new wardrobe!

Sue, congratulations on the great weight loss. You are killing it girl!

I can relate with the new wardrobe excitement. It feels amazing trying things on that didnít fit as recently as last month!

So what do you do with your larger clothes? Are you saving any of them? If so what is your thought process?

Yesterday I pulled out a pair of white capris that I wore in summers for many years - I have three pairs. Well, they almost fell off they were so big. I will add them to the pile I am donating to charity. I need to find some more that fit better. I still find that I want to wear comfortable clothes, not form fitting. I still have about 40 pounds to go to reach my goal. I probably don't have any clothes that fit at my goal weight since I haven't been that weight in over 35 years. Wow....that sounds terrible.....I have been fat for over 35 years. I hope and pray that I will never let this weight come back on me! I am discarding all of my big clothes, little at a time. Time for a new wardrobe..........but I am holding off on major buys until I reach goal.

By nature I am a hoarder. In recent years Iíve realised this is about as unhealthy for me as my weight was
So when Iím out of it, itís away to charity shop. Iím 54kg down in 2.5 years, so Iíve been through quite a lot of clothes. I donít mind keeping some old jeans for gardening but just bought two great fitting 100% cotton jeans for £40, this is less than Iíd expected one pair to cost me! But mostly Iím about thinning down my stuff as I go. Glad I kept some of my Ďone day clothesí because they look pretty good now. But I think 3 pairs jeans, couple shorts, couple leggings is plenty and donít want to clutter up my life again.
