I feel like such a slacker, but just didn't feel like doing any exercise yesterday (pms week). But today I went running around the mall for some Christmas shopping. Hopefully I burned some calories!

Just curious, leandoll, how long are your workouts in total, if you are doing almost an hour of kickboxing and then weights?

when I do my exercise dvd's they're usually around 40-50 min (depending on which one) and the rest of the remaining time with weights. It's probably too little time with weights? But I think I'm doing ok with just toning up.

Usually 30 minutes for a 1/2 body (upper or lower) workout is good enough, if you keep the weights heavy and the intensity of your lifts high. I usually only do 30 mins. weight, 30 minutes cardio. I have found this routine to work well in keeping me in good cardiovascular shape and my muscle intact. I think your workouts will do the same

Not feeling 100% yet, but it bothers me if I skip too many workouts. At least I don't have a fever or feel weak. I even got my pushups and tricep dips done!
JJ...one of my new year's resolutions is to do longer workouts with weights.

You're doing awesome as usual! If you keep this level of activity, I can almost guarantee you will NOT gain weight over the holidays, even with your indulgences...you're burning off all the treats working out. I look forward to seeing your revised workouts in the New Year. Hit me up for some new exercises anytime, babe
