I'm glad you guys are finding them so many places. It's embarrassing telling you to find them and then they're nowhere.

I think I made Oopsies tonight. LOL. I used 3 TBSP cream cheese, so maybe not. Was running between the PC and looking at the recipe for Rev Rolls in my 1973 DANDR book.

Anyways, they so remind me of my Moms Cream Puff, I am thinking bout making again, and then adding some Choc SF pudding made with 1 C water, and 1 C heavy whipping Cream. Adding a lil Cinnamon and splenda to the top. When I do I will post a pic.

I too didn't believe they would be good, but tried one with just butter, and then the next with butter, cinnamon and 1/2 splenda packet. I am sure I just found my new craving. LOL.

Ok, so now someone tell me how to get approved to raise egg laying chicks in my backyard in the city, as thats all I seem to buy these days. Eggs, eggs, and more Eggs.

My hubby's birthday is on St Patricks Day, i've been inspired by the recipe for birthday cake on Cleo's blog to try this myself. I'm going to make 3 large rev rolls with green & blacks cocoa in the mix then fill them with chocolate whipped cream and top with chocolate cream cheese, can you tell hubby likes chocolate then he's gotta do a job, take a pic and post it on here for me!!!!

Now that's an idea. How about smaller ones about 10 per recipe (sweetened w/ splenda) baked and filled with whipped cream-sweetened and then put into the freezer-like cream puffs Walmart and Sam's sells. What kind of injector would work? I don't think the one I have for turkeys would hold the cream. Maybe a cake decorating bag with a tip. Going to give this thought. Ooh..

I use a pastry pump to fill my eclairs and cream puff pastries.
Wilton again is the maker.

Anyone ever tried making them with brie or camembert in place of cream cheese? I was thinking they might make a nice roast beef sandwich that way.

Rev rolls have always sounded too eggy to me. Are these less eggy tasting than rev rolls?

Quick question for all you "pros" at oopsie rolls.

I finally made a batch that turned out really great. However, I think I didn't cook them long enough so when we ate them hamburger style they were all mooshy like. If I bake them longer will they be more crisp? I baked them for thirty minutes. Are they supposed to be crispy or more soft?
