Hi ladies,
Just a quick fly-by and a few comments:

You can make NON-fruit smoothies for those days you've used up your fruit servings already:
>Lemon/Lime smoothie (think: FF lemonade) since these two don't count as fruit on FF and you can have as much as you want
> make a smoothie using your one-per-day legal cup of organic coffee: brew cup of coffee - freeze half and chill half. Later in day, make smoothie with crushed ice, frozen coffee, chilled coffee and whey protein (I've added an oz or two of silken tofu in the past and sometimes substituted FF chocolate whey for vanilla) Think- frappacino
> If you are in P2, consider making a pumpkin pie smoothie (pumpkin puree, pumpkin spices, ice cubes, etc)

FYI - Tropical fruits are P3 because of their high sugar content.
You CAN make "teas" from your phase-legal spices & herbs - that ensures that you aren't getting any "extras" often found in commercial teas while guaranteeing that you are getting the benefit of the spices & herbs (chosen for their digestive or liver support effect).

You are doing great, I'm going to get out of your way, now

For those of you who want to make the cran water yourselves, here is a good recipe from the FF web site.

Fat Flush Plan Day 9
Weight: 111.8 (no change)

no LLC or HLW yet

Breakfast-none
lunch: salmon stuffed tomato; celery sticks, radishes, cucumber, & green onion on the side.
Snack: 1/2 grapefruit
Dinner: beef steak stirfry
Snack: blueberry smoothie

Didn't have my HLW because I couldn't find the last lemon as it was buried in the fridge. Found it when getting lunch out, so I'll have it tonight.

10 minutes on the rebounder
Long walk of 20 blocks to the post office and back.

I haven't been consistant in taking my supplements. I need to figure out a plan on dividing/taking them somehow. They can't do my any good sitting in the bottle, for sure.

I made 2 servings of the vanilla "ice cream" that's in the FFP cookbook. I'm anxious to try it because I have been wanting something sweet after my meals.

Ladibug

1.5 C coffee

S: None

L: Sauteed spinach with 2 steamed eggs and FFP Caesar dressing (flaxseed oil)

D: Skyline Chili over a bed of lettuce and topped with salsa

S: Sliced cucumber, tomato, and cold chicken with FFP Caesar dressing (flaxseed oil*)

LLC

Hi girls

I am copying this in re for your referance - it is very iportant advice from Charli (csoar)

Quote:
I'd like to remind you that it's often not enough to change WHAT you eat, it can be just as important to change HOW you eat (How and what you ate prior to LCing is what put you into the fat category, right?). I've noticed on the menu thread that the current FF group manages NOT to eat snacks most days. Eating often is a key precept of FF. If you are too full to eat often, then reduce your main meal size and spread the food across snacks. Eating more often keeps your metabolism burning hotter (especially if snacks incorporate protein) and therefore more efficiently. It's especially important to EAT BREAKFAST!
