Today was the biggest test yet. I know I'm LC when I can have Thanksgiving dinner at Mom's and resist her scrumptious turkey stuffing (dressing) and those mouth watering pumpkin pies.

I had the turkey, a little "gravy" made with whipping cream, a giant salad and then blueberries with fresh whipped cream (no sugar) for dessert.

It was a good "try out" for Christmas dinner.

You know you are a LCer when:

You have read and memorized all the labels, and can go through all the supermarket in 30 minutes - again.

Your diabetic wife yells at you for filling up the house with the smell of butter.

You wife complains that all you want is steak, steak, steak. And more steak.

You envy your 13 year old son who is 5' 7", 105 pounds, can eat all the cereal and sugery stuff, and still looks like a string bean (exercise, an elevated metabolism, and medicine for ADHD are what is causing his weight loss)

Too much bread makes you sick, especially the just out the oven, hot, soft stuff.

The boss buys Dunkin Donuts, and you turn them down (both the donuts and the boss).

You can truthfully say that you really do not like Dunkin Donuts. Well, at least without having to cross your fingers behind your back.

You put 3 pats of butter on your eggs in front of co-workers, and watch them grimice.

When you visit Mother, eat the pasta and potatoes, and are confident that the weight will come off again.

You know you're an LCer when....

Jimmy Dean no longer is the .

You no longer admire your co-worker's self-control whilst she is eating styrofoam (a/k/a rice cake).

You don't have to question how long the eggs have been in the refrigerator.

A jar of mayo no longer lasts a year or more.

You feel smug when ordering in restaurants.

You now know why you have one fat cat (eats dry food) and one thin cat (eats nothing but meaty Fancy Feast).

Okay, I'll admit, I get kinda sick of hearing negative feedback from some folks who know I'm LCing........

So.....when I guy in the next cubby at work when on a "healthy - low fat diet" and rolled his eyes at my LCing I brought my cheese omelet and sausage to work with me and ate it in my cubby .

He wouldn't admit how good it smelled but he also hasn't said another word about my LCing.
