Will you see the same large amounts of weight come off as you did the first time? In other words is it a stall breaker for most people?

I think you would just go up in water weight and then have to lose that over again through induction eating, which is not the same as losing fat but, YMMV.

Well, I am not in ketosis at all since I ate some pizza last night with my parents before they went out of town. So I am starting induction all over again for two weeks. I guess I am back to no nuts again and no salad dressing and that stinks. I just wonder if I will loose 20lbs again in 2 weeks like I did the last time. If I did, that would have been faster than If I had stayed on the diet and lost 2lbs a week. Does that make since?

You can try not to, but it's painful!
I actually have an IF day in order to jumpstart the ketosis and get the hunger pangs under control again.

Tell me again what IF is? I am a little slow on picking up some of these LC terms!

intermittent fasting

everyone does it differently. I skip breakfast and lunch. Some just breakfast, some supper... all different. It really gets a handle on cravings and blood sugar.

Totally, if it were more efficient to do induction, then get on to OWL, and then go back on induction again to kickstart big numbers again. It doesn't work that way, does it? Because if it did I'd be all over it! Though I'm not getting as quick of a result on induction as I'd hoped... it worries me about OWL and Maintenance.

I said no dressing because in the book (at least the version i have) says nothing about dressing on induction. It talks about olive oil and things like that but not ranch or blue cheese. Am I wrong? If I am tell me and I will go get a bottle of ranch and a straw!

I make my own with heavy cream and Hidden Valley Ranch mix. I think I also use less than they suggest.

Well I use some Ken's it is good and it only has 1 gram per 2 TBSP. I don't see why you can't eat nuts on induction. I know you can't but it just does not make any sence to me.

I wish I could have nuts too... I could really go for a glob of peanut butter right now.
