No problem tgrlily.
Like missru said, BUY THE NEW BOOK, and read, read, read and then do a little reading.
It's a lot of info to take in and it takes a while to get the new concepts in your head.
About 4 weeks into it it became pretty much the new habit though.
Great progress missru
Sounds like you're pretty much on track to me. Yeah, I did the same thing a while back. I had read the first book a long time ago and sort of made up my own version. Worked ok but not the same results as following Dr. Atkins advice.
This time I read the new book and pretty much followed it to the letter, worked like a champ too. I'm down another lb this morning, it's my weigh in day, for a total of 55 lbs.
BUT, don't get too hung up on the scales folks.
I have had as much as three weeks go by with no loss on the scale. I could always feel my cloths fitting different during these plateaus and then all of a sudden I'd lose several lbs. I wouldn't weigh more than once a week and waiting longer is even better.
Not a bad idea to start on a good multivitamin also. No big deal just a good one-a-day type supplement. And, start a moderate exercise program. Just 20 - 30 min a day. I started by just walking. Doesn't take much and makes a huge difference in the way you feel.
Please go to my journal and read about where I started this adventure from. Pretty bleak! Here's the link.
