10 HOURS LEFT FOR CAMPAIGN TO SUPPORT RESEARCH ON KETOGENIC DIETS TO TREAT CANCER.

We are very grateful for the response to our crowd-sourcing for research http://bit.ly/2aNfUuK. The recent symposium in Banff bought out the potential of ketogenic therapy primarily in epilepsy and neuronal disorders but We think that we can make real progress in cancer as well.

Beyond the research itself, we demonstrated that the low-carb/keto/Paleo group could really make a difference as a community and that we could go beyond the conservative style and bias of official health agencies.

For all our backers, many thanks and for those who want to jump in, you have 10 hours. It is still true that $ 10 makes a difference in the operation of the lab.

My pretty blue teeshirt, complete with gluconeogenesis, came yesterday. YAY for donating and YAY for conversation starting teeshirts.

We hit our goal on research on ketogenic diets. We are very grateful for the funding and for the demonstration that more than 500 people are really willing to join the team and go beyond what the experts think is important. We will try to keep everybody updated.

Wore my t-shirt for the first time yesterday. Happy to support this study, and I appreciate the emails with links to the blog for progress and information updates.

Me too. Wore the t shirt on Sunday and showed it off to my son and daughter-in-law (daughter-in-law to be more accurately). They had no idea what it meant. It's nice to get the updates. I get the sense that they are truly appreciative of the support they have been given.

I'm going to wear mine when we see my brother and his family at Christmas. Both he and my nephew are dangerously overweight doctors, my SIL has a degree in Home Ec and their DIL is a critical care RN.

So they ALL should recognize at least a bit of the formula, and I'd REALLY like to have them start a conversation about it.

We're going to try to present some background so that the pathways are a little more comprehensible (Biochem 101). The current avenue for communication is my blog http://feinmantheother.com.
You can also "ask the researchers" in comments. Thanks to everybody for support.
