Kmy, when doing low carb you should not use low fat products and always eat the whole egg....You want the fat, it's healthy.

Last of the Long Peppers well I have a few more that will get eaten today. I'm not sure why I don't eat more eggs for breakfast. An omelette with these types of ingredients inside should work right?

I've never tried shirataki noodles but reading these ideas makes me think about having sai min for breakfast or lunch when I lived in Honolulu. Quick search, found a recipe for sai min with shirataki:

http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/a...i709190361.html

carb count at 29 seems high? maybe the fish cake.

One thing I loved about sai min bowls in those days was the very tasty shoyu you could add. Obviously these were younger pre-LC days when I ate dim sum, manapua, and other carby things.

Yeah, I really liked the fake crab sticks. I thought they were going to be ok on LC but look at the labels, they pack a lot of sugar in them. And I've had fish cake in many soups and it looks like it uses surimi along with flour to make the cake, DARN! Maybe some fresh fish poached in the hot broth would do

^^just a note, here I noticed the "fake" surimi crab sticks and lumps, they have wheat starch in them as well. Which I am gluten free, so I steer clear.

This morning I had chicken salad on endurance crackers for brekkie.

Break fast is the fun meal of the day, break fast can be any time, today it happens to be early in the morning. Thank you Germany!

Fruhstuckwurst mit Sauerkraut (does this make sense?)

I finally broke out of my breakfast shell a little and made a flaxseed red velvet "cake." It was more like a spongy muffin, but very good. Really filling, too.

My doctor says that I can eat full fat greek yogurt now. I haven't been able to find any that don't have a ton of sugar in them (20g for one small cup). Anyone know any brand that are lower sugar?

Renee, this might sound weird, but there is some full fat yogurt at Walmart that just plain. Yeah, Walmart, but I'd check the back before buying. Every other regular grocery store I go to seems to only have zero fat plain yogurt. check it out of you have one near you.

There's got to be some other yogurt experts here. I'm a long way off from reintroducing that but I can see it in the distant future, perhaps starting as a condiment.

it is hard to find sometimes, but fage makes full fat plain.
if i can't find it though i just get the 2% plain by fage, choabi or even store brand Giant. All 3 are 6-7g carb per 6 oz cup. if you are worried about skimping on fat with these, just add some nuts or nut butter.
