This thread is fantastic! I might lose man points talking about shopping, but I want go shopping and buy rad clothes because I like them and not just because they are the only ones that fit. I want to able to really play with my son (he's six weeks old right now) and maybe even outrun him

To be honest....I would love to wear a swim suit. Nothing like playboy, just a simple suit. Every summer, I wear swim shorts or cover ups. Just once I would like to have a real bathing suit. And not just wear it, but feel comfortable.

Thanks Blackstone - I'll have to give it some thought.

Oasis1984 - That's a really good goal. One I haven't thought about it years. I always look for clothes that are boring and big..so no one will look at me. LOL! Shopping will be a so much fun in the future. And congratulations on your brand new bundle of joy!

Ultralight - That is another goal I have overlooked. I wear these HUGE ugly mens board shorts to the beach. I'm sure I look ridiculous. just a nice swimsuit is an awesome idea!

I know it sounds silly and small, but I want to go buy some skimpy underwear and a lacey bra and prance around the house. I'm not sure why this is something that has stuck out in my mind for so long as something I want to be able to do- maybe because for so long I've worn "functional" bras and panties and don't feel comfortable having my husband staring at my "wobbly bits" in broad daylight, lol.

A little TMI probably, but that's something that keeps me going, especially when hubby gets triple chocolate brownies at the store! (He's one of those lucky naturally-high-metabolism people that could eat crap all day and not gain a pound.)

U- wearing a swimsuit without coverup shorts would be nice. My most recent swimsuit acquisition has a skirt. It makes me feel so old, but hides at least a bit of my thigh.

R- skimpy instead of function would be nice for a change.

Deborah-

Ziplining is highly recommended!
You are right to want to get in shape for it, the more strenous courses, in my opinion, offer better views and more thrills.

I want to celebrate my anniversary/Halloween (my husband and I are HUGE Halloween fanatics) at Disneyland with tons of energy. Furthermore, I want to attend one of the Disneyland Halloween parties (evening parties with separate admission where adults and kids alike can dress in costume and trick-or-treat) dressed as Jessica Rabbit. Not only do I want that for ME, but it is one of my hubby's biggest fantasies (he wanted me to dress like that for Halloween last year...at 248 pounds! LOL!), and I would love to just watch him drool all night long.

I also HOPE to enjoy the looks on the faces of my EXTREMELY judgmental family (who are, for the most part, my size or bigger). I already know that they won't say anything positive. The comments I get will be along the lines of "So how much further do you have to go?" or "But you looked so good before" or maybe, from a very caring aunt "Good for you, now let's just see if you can keep it off". But that look on their faces when they realize that I DID it would just thrill me.

Oh yeah, and that same family teases me mercilessly about not wearing a swimsuit in public all summer long (I am a 38H. They do not make a swimsuit that covers enough of those puppies so that I don't look obscene). So I would love to wear a cute little swimsuit that actually shows me off in a good way.

That's all my "secret" desires for now. But I fantasize about them on the treadmill, so maybe I'll have more later.

i would like to be able to do an handstand again. i used to be huge into gymnastics and now no more. i would love to do things like that again.

running would be a dream. like real running not just kinda jogging around.

wearing a pretty dress and looking the way i am supposed to. no random bulges coming out of where they shouldnt be.

and just dancing. i used to dance all the time and once i became overweight my confidence went straight down and i havent really danced in like 10 years. and im 26 so i feel like i have missed a lot.

and one more that is a little tmi but i would love to feel comfortable enough with myself to be intimate with my husband with no clothing at all on.

thats it i think

At goal, I'm going to go to Paris for a week or so, and I'll buy at least some clothes, but I'll try on LOADS more! Shop till I drop! Window shopping mostly I guess, on kind of a budget, but I aim to go home with at least, say, three more garments of some description than I flew down there with...

In the gym, I really really, REALLY want to be able to do at least ONE unassisted pull-up... My arms can't quite handle 105 kgs, but they'll probably start obeying me at some point after 100, 90, 80 kgs... Wherever.
