I like the idea of the snack cabinet. I do have to deal with carbs everyday though. I better figure out a way to have them around me or I will fail at every holiday or restaurant!

Since I started this WOE I have not really had a lot of cravings for sweets or junk food. Maybe I am lucky because I generally like what I eat.

Before TOM I get a huge hunger for something sweet. I tried fighting it before and I found myself eating too much of everything else to fill the void (like a whole roast chicken). I've had better results with the small atkins bars, or NSA chocolate from the bulk section at the grocery store. Last night l made a peanut-chocolate pudding with cocoa and splenda. I may have it for breakfast!

My husband and I tried the snack cabinet idea (treats for him).

Unfortunately, the lock wasn't strong enough for my lack of self control.

I usually put my dd's foods, snacks, which are usually chips and cookies in a separate drawer. As long as they are out of site, they are not on my mind, except before my TOM.... However, I have been making a low carb sweet or buying one to help during that time...
